Tika
We decided to call the band "Tika'.
Tika means truth, (or the essence of truth), correctness, directness and justice. It's about being just, lawful and proper, it's about our human rights. And very important for everyone who's fighting for justice, "keeping on a direct course". We will not stop until we've won.
As more and more people get to know about the TRUTH of these evil toxins the closer we'll get to stopping this. It is our hope that the media will start to fully investigate the truth behind this appalling activity, rather than toeing the safe line. Surely this should be your responsibility.

Paul Cohen
The "force" behind "Poison-Free New Zealand" and "Enuf is Enuf".
Billy TK Snr
Exciting New Zealand guitar player who has often been referred to as the NZ... Jimi Hendrix, he is however a man of many parts, best known for his blistering guitar solos pulsating rhythms and beautiful melodies.
Billy along with Katy Soljak spent weeks and weeks immersed in this music project. He is a true Kiwi legend.
Katy Soljak
Katy's stye is describes as "blue-folk-poetry-truth". She has performed throughout NZ and California where she lived for 10 years and played with talented Americans such as Paul Barrere from Little Feet and Steven Hodges from Tom Waits Band. She has been on Waiheke for a decade, she establishes Gala Records Studio, where "Enuf is Enuf" was created and recorded. Katy says, "Enuf is Enuf is the most important project I've ever done". She feels passionately that this aerial poisoning of New Zealand is criminal and must be stopped, and hopes this song will that happen.

About Enuf is Enuf
The initial track laid down by Billy TK Snr who wrote the music. Katy Soljak compiled lyrics using a stream of conciousness in poem form written by Paul Cohen and put it into a melody form over Billy TK's music, laying down the original song form as a guide for the singers.
Katie's 3rd verse was retained for the track and she named the song Enuf is Enuf with txt language spelling. Billy plays delicious guitar throughout track which was initially recorded by Nic Stevens here at Gala Records in Onetangi, Waiheke Islandi. Nic laid down keyboards (which he is famous for in Cornerstone Roots and more recently Native Sons) and added drums and timbale tracks.
Nic's dad Jonnie Stevens came by to visit the studio and we roped him into some smoky harmonies on the chorus. Nic had to go back to his other life in Raglan and the ambitious recording and mixing project, being feverishly whipped along by Eco Dynamo; Cohen, then became the gigantic task for Briin Gould who managed all the trials and dramas like a zen captain at the helm of a tall ship at sea. Gabriel Langdon from Raglan also added her voice to the chorus.
The studio was always calm under his watch. Billy TK laid down a reggae bass. Mel Davis (Aotearoa Sister from Waiheke) came in on a rainy Sunday and put her gorgeous bridge part on which we all loved so much we decided to keep both. Next came Sarah Maoate (Waiheke) who put down a poigniant pulsing freestyle rap.
Jazz/ Soul Diva from Auckland; Caitlin Smith brought some of her magic to the track next by tweaking the lyrics on the first 2 verses and pouring her amazing voice all over the track as well as punching up the first 2 verses.
Five members of Waiheke's sexy all male choir; Richard, Mark, Phil, Paul and Keith added balls to the chorus; 'Enuf is Enuf.' Then another layer of female energy and harmony followed with members of 'The Campfire Girls,' Del, Simone and Glenda in the chorus.
Music Team: Katy Soljak, Billy TK Sn & Briin Gould
Final Mix of Enuf is Enuf: Anthony Milas and Murray Fisher.
Video Team:Delyth Morgan Coghlan

The Festival is now an annual event. Del feels passionately about the poisoning of our Paradise and gives her skills and vision to the track.
