Maori BAN 1080

Fantastic news - Te Runanga o Makaawhio (of which I am a member), the iwi whose rohe not only comprises 95% of Westland, but is the most 1080-dropped in the whole of New Zealand, voted yesterday at a 1080 Consultation Hui UNANIMOUSLY to ban not only aerial 1080, but 1080 period in their rohe.  They went even further and decided to prosecute any breaches, at the Environmental Court if necessary.
This decision will be ratified in the next month or so at the Executive Hui, and it will be Front Page news!  In the meantime, we have leaked it via Farmer's Against Ten Eighty (FATE) to the AHB to make their lives miserable.
